did i miss a turn?
Today was assessment day in our fitness class. We had to try and beat our time going around the lake two times. I completed the laps way longer than the last time I did it. How did that happen? Did I miss a turn? The best thing about the fitness class is I get to see family and friends work toward better health.

YEAH YOU!! Because of you, I can move better, bend better and have more energy than i can remember! I'm thinking our bodies will perform much better in our senior years because of the changes we are making right now. So what if your time was off...you went twice around the lake and completed all the asscessment tests.
ReplyDeleteWe can strive to improve but one test does not represent all you have accomplished...look at the pictures to your left, think about how we spend our time together and the changes we've made in the snacking we do, or did, the lake time is irrelevent...you are success and an inspiration to us all~
Elise,
ReplyDeletethank you for sharing your thoughts, support and encouragement with Kathy...
Kathy,
When it comes to weight loss it's not always VISIBLE success. Besides the scale, girth, and performance tests there are also the intangible. Such would include: energy levels, ease of mobility, attitude, outlook on life AND quality of life, cardiovascular capacity, and brain efficiency...
So next time you think that you "stayed the same" or "slipped" think about the small gains you've made.
The battle is about mental toughness. You will know when you acquire it. In the meantime keep working hard and keep your head up!!
